It would be more appropiate to wear it under the gown IMO. The military doesnt allow other attire, so why should the school? 12 : Cap and Gown definitely! 13 : This is a tough one. On one hand he is proud to be a Marine and wants to show his pride he should be allowed to. On the other hand if your in the military you always have a uniform of the day. The uniform of the day for a HS graduation is a cap and gown so as much as I hate to say it he should wear his cap and gown. I know some would say he could wear his uniform under his gown but that would be an insult to the uniform. Perhaps the High School though could give a special tribute to those graduates going in to the military though. 14 : Its a HS graduation, so it should be a cap and gown. In recruit training he did not wear a cap and gown to represent his high school graduation. I would suggest wearing his dress blues underneath the cap and gown, just like others wear a tux, if it really is something he wants to do. 15 : no its retarded, fuckin boots 16 : You can wear anything you want. Under your gown.
