Does anyone know what kids onThe Biggs AFB attend in Elpaso Texas? High school and elemtary?

I'm not really sure why you posted this under homeschooling, or what exactly you are asking, but we are army homeschoolers who live near Fort Bliss, which is in El Paso, so I thought I's give it a shot. First off, I thought that Biggs was closed in the 60's? I believe it is now called Biggs ARMY airfield. If there are air force units here in El Paso they must be very small, which means the kids probably either go to school on Fort Bliss with the army brats for elementary, or off post for high school. Fort Bliss is a very, very large post, and they have many different elementary schools. If you are asking about the quality of army schools on Bliss in general (poor-to-fair, depending) or El Paso area schools (consistantly fail to meet any standards, most kids in a class are way below grade level, some don't even speak english at all, my husband's sisters grauated without ever having read a whole book!) I don't know for sure offhand if the highschool is on post or not, Bliss is big enough that there might be one on there, but if you are a DOD employee or dependant go to the relocation engine at SITES (https://www.dmdc.osd.mil/appj/sites/) and you can pull up all sorts of information about any military base no matter the branch, but if Biggs is closed you won't find anything there, and would need to look under Fort Bliss!

MY kid just turned 15, and we plan to pay for a $150.00 course online for that part that requires the class BEFORE you get the permit. http://www.texasteendriversed.com/ in Texas, an underage driver requires behind the wheel hours. your PARENTS can give you this, as long as they fill out a form and mail $20 to the department of motor vehicles. (And they otherwise qualify...they have to have a license, insurance on the car, not have drug convictions, traffic violations, etc) http://www.texasteendriversed.com/ppc/dpsenrollment.html?COUPON=EDOVTXTEEN&OVRAW They get a packet from the department of motor vehicles that has a log that they have to keep for hours behind the wheel. They must fill it out if it comes down to them proving you got the instruction. Minus all the permit and test fees, we are looking at $170.00. In San Antonio, The schools here want $350, whatnot... looks to be a little cheaper in El Paso ($260) Good luck

Would like to know from either EL PASO TEXAS or SAN ANTONIO Texas (residents) the following school information for Children of:10th grade, 9th grade, and 2nd grade. See questions below, Please: 1). well i live in el paso texas and im 17 years old my account might say im 19 but im using my sisters account with her picture.(which does NOT look like me) i go to bowie high school but transfering to franklin because of my cousin but one of my old friends says i should move down there in atlanta with her. but my friends and family are here. this might not be true but my friends call texas the state of love because we want to find our true loves here. should i move and be with one of my old friends or stay in texas with my bunch of new friends and find that special man that i used to have in bowie now i have to find in franklin. my descion is maybe but im askin you people so please help me!!!!!!! im still waiting for your answers there is this guy who recited poetry on here or whatever it is? please help me

i left sandiego california plus all of my friends, school church, to move to a butthole part of el paso texas with a woman who works 12- 15 hours a day ( she doesnt need to i am infdependently wealthy) and when she is off work she wants to do nothing. i sit around the house in the sweltering heat all day alone. she wont even go to church with me ( she is korean american) because her friends are at her church, they only speak korean at her congregation. i want us to go to church to spend time together but she refuses everything has to be her way. she has lived here for over 10 years and does not even know or want to discover the area, i feel she is really neglectful in the relationship, of course i pay the bills and do all the cleaning, am i an idiot?

If you are asking total strangers this question, I'd say you are not happy and want others to tell you to move on. Sounds to me like you need approval. So..OK...Here it goes: Move on. Go back home and start a new life. The fact you feel she is neglectful of the relationship is a huge red flag you cannot keep ignoring. Good luck.

You're not an idiot you're just in love. Maybe you didn't realistically think about how well you two would be in the long run when weighing in her homebody nature and her busy work schedule. You should try to express your concerns and try to get her to compromise. You could ask her to just visit your church at least once to see if she likes it. However, if she isn't willing to help improve the relationship you may need to move on for your own happiness. Compatibility is very important. Good luck

Love doesn't make you miserable. If your best friend was in this situation and you could feel his pain, what would you tell him to do? Okay... ...now ask yourself why you think your friend deserves more than you do. "Idiot" is a bit harsh. You just made a mistake. Some of the best advice I ever received from a teacher was to never move in with someone before engagement/marriage because if it doesn't work out, you feel stuck and unable to get out of a convienent relationship. It's obvious that it's not working out, so the best course of action would either be to break-up, move out, and get your own life for awhile. Or you can try to work it out by giving her an ultimatum: either she compromises more in order to save your relationship or it's over. It sounds like you have some serious issues to work out, but if you were willing to leave behind your home for her once, she might still be worth it.
