i used to live in el paso tx. i have friends, "family" (which is my group of friends who took me n durring hard times), and i can make it in to NMSU or UTEP just fine... however economicly there is no oportunity or hope out there... i moved to va because my real family (who i hadn't talked to or relied on for 2 years before this) offered to pay for my school if i just came up to va and lived at thier house. its a really nice house, and its free college so ofcourse i said yes. well, now i am having issues meeting people i click with (most people here don't like anime loving rocker kids too much), my parents are using me as a scapegoat for issues in their marraige (as a result for the past 2 months i stay in my room or am gone as much as possible), i live in an area where theres nothing to do, but there s so much opertunity for going to a good school, get a job in the department of defense through my dad. should i stay in va or should i go back to tx?

Texas it is like California super fun plus you have family.

Where in va are you going to school. Go to VCU, they're all about artsy fartsy stuff. Tech, JMU, Radford, GMU, ODU will not be so friendly to you.

you should stay in VA alot more opportunity there for you education should come first just make some friends at school or get a part time job and keep your self busy and i am sure you will find friends there the best job is the movies you met tons of people hope it helps good luck

i go to school in va love it also live with mom and new step father are going threw the same things and putting up with it because in one yr the world will be in my hands not theres stay make it threw it for your sake
